The Youth Engagement Program- YEP is about engaging youth as partners and change-makers in assessing and designing community projects. Moreover, YEP mobilizes local resources (both human and material) to implement and fund community interventions that lead to development.  YEP created YLLA (Youth Leading Local Action), a project that was funded by the European Union in Egypt and was implemented in partnership with YouthBank International. Young people at WMCF receive training on how to do research assessments for their communities and for their projects and how to identify social entrepreneurs in their neighborhoods to offer them grants.

YEP started the first five YouthBanks in Egypt, namely, YouthBank Maadi, Torah, Maasara, Helwan and Tebbin; and connected Egypt with 200 existing YouthBanks worldwide.
